On April 6 (Monday), GAIA-BT (represented by CEO Yun Kyoung Kang), an innovative biotech AI company developing a fully-autonomous lab, and Jeju Technopark (represented by President Ji Young-heun), signed an MOU to drive the AI transformation of the Jeju's bio industry during the 'AI × BIO Convergence Seminar' held at the Jeju Bio Center. Organized as part of the 'Jeju Small and Medium Bio Enterprise AX Growth Engine Construction Project' supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the event focused on establishing practical AI business models tailored to Jeju's unique biological resources.
Introducing the 'Autonomous Laboratory'
Through this agreement, GAIA-BT will work closely with Jeju TP to revolutionize the traditional, manual-labor-driven R&D processes by integrating advanced AI to automate, optimizate, and accelerate the discovery and commercialization of natural products.
