As an LLM Engineer on our research team, you will be responsible for developing our core technology, LLM-powered AI Agents for Bio R&D automation, accelerating the plan-evaluation-analysis cycles. This role involves close collaboration with our internal biology R&D team and a vast network of over 3,000 industry consultants, connecting the technologies of our diverse partners with our own to deliver new and transformative value to the bio industry.
Our work environment is both collaborative and innovative, where your ideas are valued and supported to drive real-world impact. If you are ready to solve complex challenges in AI and biotechnology and shape the future of R&D automation, apply today!
Applications for this job will be accepted until September 30th (Tue.) 23:59 KST/UTC+9.
As a LLM Engineer at GAIA-BT, you will develop agents that intervene in the various plan-evaluation-analysis cycles of bio R&D to accelerate the process. Furthermore, you will connect the technologies of our diverse partners—each with different expertise across bio industry value chains—with GAIA-BT's technology through these agents to deliver new value.
R&D Focus: Bio Materials, specific research topics include:
Enhanced User Experience via Multi-modal Active Learning: Analyzes user data based on the various structured and unstructured data predicted by GAIA-GPT's AI functions, and provides insights that can reduce researchers' experimental trial-and-error. As the user inputs more data (e.g., project information, research data, experimental results, requirements), the platform integrates this information to progressively generate more accurate and refined insights.
Multi-platform Closed-loop Optimization: Mediates GAIA-GPT's AI and “external environment” to optimize the iterative “predict-synthesize-analyze” loop. “External environment" is defined dynamically; it can refer to physical hardware, such as lab equipment, or the entire experimental process and workflow itself.
Real-time Search and Database Construction of Unstructured Professional Documents: Extracts up-to-the-minute information from papers and patents by combining academic search, document parsing, and bioinformatics algorithms. From this information, GAIA-GPT presents and interprets accurate data to determine novel functional ingredient candidates, novelty and combination references.
